    Fabulous

We found the staff very professional and we enjoyed the fact that the we could cross the road to the prom and have a walk before breakfast. The view from the room was excellent with lots of activity in the harbour.

The only change I would make is to the shower over the bath .....impossible to wash your hair........

    Good

It was a throw back to a 1980's traveller hotel with services to match, bets aspect was the view from the window

The lift was a little scary and the decor and furnishings were somewhat tired and in need of a make over, perhaps rte might send Francis Brennen in to advise

Staff friendly and nice view from room window

I would describe it as "Faulty Towers" you would need a sense of humour, bar dinner on first night that we were there awful and waited for almost an hour for service, first room we were given smelled damp and unused and very cold no heating on, were upgraded and that room was ok with lovely harbour views. We had to pay a deposit for parking fob which was useless as we got no space as parking area was full. No swimming pool as we were out of season -for indoor pool!!

    Convenient for Cork city.

Noisy. Emphasis on pleasing locals rather than paying residents. My room was very small and the bathroom had very limited facilities (not even a toilet roll holder)! Not worth the money. I gave the hotel a very negative comment on their form. There are serious management failings here.

    Very good

location was fabulous and the staff was very nice, but unfortunately not the most efficient. We had a broken television, rang down and they said they would come up, but they never did. We ordered breakfast in our room because we had a very early departure. The breakfast never appeared. We ate dinner in the restaurant the the bill was wrong. Everything was done with a smile, but not done very well. But again, they were very nice. View was fabulous and bathroom was big

I didn't enjoy my stay. I had booked well in advance as I knew I would be having surgery that week. While I was in the hospital for the week before my stay I received emails and stressful phone all's from the hotel saying there was a problem with payment. When I said I was in the hospital unwell I was informed that they didn't care. I had to get on to my bank and ask them to contact the hotel to clarify that payment had been taken from my account. The hotel then contacted me to say all was ok. However, on my arrival at hotel I was put through the same stressfull situation, no note nor communication between staff relating to matter had been made. I had booked to recuperate after surgery. I found the stay and dealings with the hotel extremely stressful and unprofessional. Would never recommend hotel to anyone!

The customer service. The food. The elevator. The requirement of €20 deposit for residents to park car in hotel car park

    Good

Staff were lovely, very friendly. Room was clean and tidy.

The hotel was very old fashioned, facilities in the room were ok but everything from the floor upwards was on a tilt, coffee sliding off tables, tv was tiny (you'd need binoculars to see it from the bed).We requested breakfast in bed but didn't get it - request which we hung on the door as specified was not collected! Was quite disappointed all round :(

    Fabulous

Convenient location. If arriving by car, can a bit tricky as parking was non existent on the street the day I arrived, and you have to check in first to then be given a key tag for the hotel parking lot which is up the road a bit. A porter did come and take my luggage, so I could then find the parking and walk back.

Hotel is "old style" and my single room was a little shabby in places (shower), but bed was comfy. Staff very nice, and good breakfast overlooking the seafront, I would stay again,

The location was good and the bar and restaurant staff were very nice and friendly!

The hotel was very noisy the music from the nightclub could be heard from our room, the bed was quite small and not very comfortable. As our room was next to the stairs it was quite noisy and our bathroom room didnt close properly. The car park was full on arrival and we had to leave the csar parked out in the street.
